Andrea Wang

Andrea is a thyroid cancer survivor and has determined to dedicate her life in improving cancer care since she achieved remission in high school. Andrea received her graduate training in translational biology and molecular medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in 2011. After her graduate study, she has been working on oncology/hematology therapeutic product launch ad medical affairs and product manager for over 5 years. She also received a Data Science Specialization from Johns Hopkins University through Coursera while working at Hematology Division of National Taiwan University Hospital.
Together with her husband and hematologist Dr. Bor-Sheng Ko, they collaborated with Dr. Chi-Chun Lee, the associate professor of electrical engineering from National Tsing-Hua University to develop machine learning algorithm for blood cancer diagnosis in 2017. Laster on, they cofounded AHEAD Medicine in 2019.
