Daphna Mokady, PhD

Daphna is a science-innovation professional with 15+ years of academic and industry experience in leading research projects in a broad spectrum of biomedical fields, including regenerative medicine, cancer research, genetics, and microbiology. With a diverse scientific background and business development experience, she promotes innovative ideas and leads pioneering research. Daphna fosters a network of collaborations with leading academic institutions, industry partners and key opinion leaders throughout North America and Europe. In addition to scientific innovation, Daphna is a passionate advocate of gender equality in STEM and is the founder and president of a Toronto-based organization promoting women’s careers in all STEM disciplines up to the boardroom.

Daphna holds a PhD in Microbiology from Tel Aviv University and an MSc (summa cum laude) in Genetics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Graduate of the AdMare Bio-Innovations Executive Leadership program.
